Dell <> EMC

On September 7, Dell completed the purchase of EMC to become the largest privately held technology company. It consists of the Dell, EMC, VMware, SecureWorks, Pivotal, Virtustream, VCE and RSA brands and will change its name to Dell Technologies. What can this bring to the technology sector and to your company?

“We want to innovate with customers, and this is a challenge for many public companies,” explained CEO Michael Dell. “The unique thing about all these companies is that we are going to bring together the best capabilities and as we are private, we can have a longer-term horizon. Other companies have to sell pieces and are struggling in one way or another.”

The company will continue to offer XPS, Alienware, and Inspiron PC PCs and is expected to explore new areas of growth.
